So here I am..I finally have a sort of online journal! I'm hoping to use this as a way to get some feelings out, a way to share my adventures, share my love of the outdoors, my quilting habit, possibly some cooking, and just a view into a newlywed's life.
Monday is my husband and I's second anniversary! These 2 years have flown by. We've definitly have had our ups and downs. We got engaged only after 6 months and are learning about each other almost every day. I love him with all my heart but there are some days I don't even want to look at him! But I'm sure I can't be the only wife whos thought this every now and then! In the end I know how much he loves me and cares about me (my name is tattooed on his arm for gosh sakes!) and I couldn't ask for a better man in my life!
Also counting down the days until the official start to our hunting season. Sept 3rd is the early goose opener in Minnesota. My favorite time of year...the early mornings are chilly, but it's beautiful in the afternoon. We both have a huge passion for hunting and I'm so glad we can share that together. We haven't been able to get up to the families cabin hardly at all this summer...so a lot of our hunting stuff isn't organized. So it should be a little bit of madness the day before the season opens. I wish we could spend every weekend hunting! But work gets in the way (hahaha).
Anyway thats all I can think about to write for my first blog!
